Have a birthday party, corporate function, fundraiser or other event coming up? A private improv show is a great way to draw a crowd and create a truly memorable experience! Private shows can be a length of your choosing, and can even include a short workshop where your group can learn a couple of improv games too!
What kind of show is best for my event?
Short Form Shows: Short form improv is a style many are familiar with through Who’s Line is it Anyway? Short form players perform several improv games as directed by a host, and occasionally get audience participation on stage as well. Each game lasts between 3-5 minutes, so the number of games determines show length.
Long Form Shows: Long form improv is more similar to a sketch show or play, except that it’s all made up on the spot. The players perform a series of scenes based on one initial suggestion from the audience. There are many frameworks for long form, and the length of the show will often determine which framework is best.
