You are capable & worthy.
Do you fear speaking your truth, setting boundaries or asking hard questions?
Do you struggle to tell people how you feel or what you need before it grows so big that you blow up?
Or do you hold your feelings in until the silence has left you feeling completely isolated in your relationships?
Is there a truth you're holding onto, that you just can't seem to speak out loud?
I know what that feels like. At various times in my experiences of sexual assault, toxic bosses, drastic career transition, difficult times in my marriage, a failed start up and the journey of foster parenting to adoption, I have felt immobilized by fear, shame and resentment.
Everyone one of these circumstances involved vastly different brave conversations, and vastly different inner work to honor both myself and the others involved. These are not easy things to do, but they are possible! There is so much to GAIN by finding your courage to say the thing that must be said in a way that honors the people who matter to you.
For example:
I created Mindful Improv Thinking™ to help my clients tap into the strength they already have inside of themselves to create personal freedom, inner peace and true connection through brave conversations.

WHAT TO EXPECT
I believe in the restorative power of nature, laughter and mindful curiosity. You can expect these healing elements often!
Our work together will center around one or two specific brave conversations in your life. You'll learn a series of processes designed to:
HOW IT WORKS:
I work with clients 1:1 through virtual coaching sessions in packages of 5 or 10 sessions.
I also offer 1:1 retreats in which we'll have a day-long session in nature with your choice of outdoor adventure, challenge activity and really good food. I offer two location options: Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Northeast, OH and Pittsburgh, PA. I absolutely love doing these with clients! Getting out of your usual setting and trying new things is fun but it's also an evidence-based method for retaining information and retraining your brain for new habits! That's the spirit of the 1:1 retreats: adventure, laughter, nature and tapping into your own inner wisdom.
Each retreat is customized, so the level of adventure can be adjusted to meet your preferences. I am able to offer:

- Help you heal and restore yourself independently from the other(s) involved before the brave conversation.
- Help you determine your starting point for initiating the conversation.
- Help you find mental clarity and confidence during the conversation, so you have the words you want to say without drawing a blank until hours or days later.
- Prepare for and release yourself from feelings of panic, second guessing and shame after the conversation.

- Click the button below to schedule a 45-minute session. You'll pay in order to schedule.
- You will get an automated email w/ Zoom info and a link to add this to your calendar.
- I will email you personally with info about my coaching packages, because having this information will keep you from wondering/worrying about costs during our call. Transparency is the best policy!
- We'll spend ALL of your 45 minutes talking about YOU and your brave conversation. I'll offer real, practical advice you can get started implementing right away. If I think we're a good match, at the end of our call I'll extend an invitation to work together and answer any questions you may have about my coaching packages.
- There will be *no pressure* at all :) My goal is for you to leave our time together feeling encouraged, uplifted and motivated to make progress in your situation, not deflated and like you just got bamboozled by an over-eager sales person. I don't like that feeling either!

DISCLAIMER:
This is NOT intended as a substitute for therapy. In fact, my clients often meet with a therapist separately from our time together. A therapist is equipped with a broad variety of evidence-based tools for helping with things like depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma recovery and mental health support.
Conversely, I focus specifically on confidence, skill building and personal reflection for brave conversations. If at any time you feel you need support beyond the scope of our work together, I highly recommend seeking out a licensed therapist! I found mine on GrowTherapy.com :)
